so, who is she?
so happy you asked! i am a five foot, blonde headed, and blue eyed girl from wylie, texas. i really love coffee and Jesus. i am an only child with the most supportive parents and the sweetest puppy. (she is actually 11 years old, but i ignore that part.)
my faith is a huge part of who i am. in order to know who i am and anything about my story, you must understand that Jesus is the root of my life and i will forever walk in His plan, even if that looks different from mine. while reading through this blog, i truly hope you are not fooled by a girl who may seem to have it all together. my life would be a crazy mess without Jesus. but because of his grace and forgiveness i get to walk in His light and be a shepherd to His people.
i am currently a speech pathology undergrad at texas christian university. i plan on serving children in an education setting who have speech development issues. this profession is very special to me because i love learning new ways to help someone better their physical abilities in order to be more confident mentally.
in high school, my favorite subject was math. i prefer math in general because there is a clear right answer and always a formula or process on how to get this answer. i liked geometry in particular because i felt like i was always solving a puzzle. in classes that required you to form your answer based on beliefs or opinions, expanded my knowledge greatly because they really required me to think.
so, you may be asking, "why are you starting a blog if you like math so much?" good question. i have always wanted to write for fun, but i really prefer informal writing that does not require perfect technique. more of a way to spill my thoughts and not worry about format. so, here i am. writing in all lowercase and choppy sentences. i really hope as you read, you can see into my thoughts and understand i never plan to be an english major. this blog was specifically formed to post assignments in my english class, but I am excited because we are allowed to choose our own topics and use our own interests to form this page.
so, welcome to a glimpse of sarah elizabeth.
